TRINITY SURFACES IN THE COMMUNITY: MENNELLO MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART

October 12, 2017

The Trinity Surfaces team was excited to join The City of Orlando, Friends of the Mennello Museum of American Art, The Mennello Museum Board of Trustees together with Executive Director, Shannon Fitzgerald, on Friday May 19th for an evening celebrating the work of the incredibly talented artists in our local community. Trinity Surfaces Senior Designer, Holli Van Cleave partnered with Jose Cabrera of CL Studio Inc. and museum Executive Director, Shannon Fitzgerald to help give a well-deserved, updated look to museum. The flooring installation took place just before the museum unveiled its newest exhibit, Our Orlando and American Youth: Our Identity.

We were so honored to be a part of this project by providing the museum with new floors. More importantly, we were happy to engage with our local community through the creative arts. For 19 years, The Mennello Museum of American Art has provided Orlando and Central Florida―residents and visitors alike― opportunities for all to understand and value creativity through innovative experiences.

Take the opportunity to visit the museum – not only to see the beautiful new flooring, but to experience the exceptional local art. OUR ORLANDO presents the work of five rising local artists, and AMERICAN YOUTH: OUR IDENTITY aspires to support and foster the creativity of Orlando’s talented teen artists by providing a space for engagement and conversations about their art.
